Common
questions

Do I need any Irish at all to start?
Absolutely not. The Foundations Programme is designed for complete beginners. All you need is a willingness to learn and an open mind. We start from zero and build steadily.
How are sessions delivered?
All sessions are online via Zoom, making it easy to fit around your schedule wherever you are in the world. Sessions are recorded so you can revisit them anytime.
How long before I can hold a conversation?
Most students start having basic conversations within 6–8 weeks. Real fluency typically takes 4–6 months of consistent practice, depending on time commitment.
What dialect do you teach?
I primarily teach Connacht Irish but introduce students to all three main dialects so you can understand and communicate with speakers from any region.
Is there a student portal or course area?
Yes — enrolled students get access to a dedicated course portal with video lessons, resources, and homework. Student login is in the top-right corner of this site.
How do I sign up?
Book a free 30-minute consultation call first. This lets us chat about your goals, your current level, and which programme is the right fit. No pressure, no commitment.
